Joshua Wong, one of Hong Kong's best-known protest figures, and two other famous activists were sentenced to jail on Wednesday for staging a protest outside Hong Kong Police Headquarters in June 2019.

Joshua Wong was sentenced to 13 and a half months in prison while his comrades Agnes Chow and Ivan Lam were respectively sentenced to ten and seven months in detention, according to an AFP journalist.
