France and the United Nations are organizing a videoconference on Wednesday at the level of heads of state to reaffirm international support for the Lebanese “people”.
The promised aid, which amounts to hundreds of millions of dollars, is all the more important as Lebanon continues to sink into an unprecedented crisis, as a result of the collapse of its financial and monetary system, the Covid-19 pandemic and the August 4 explosion in the port of Beirut.
