On Wednesday (December 2) at about 1:00 in the morning, Homan Tin’s Kang Man House in Aimin Village and Sun Moon House in Choi Wan Village in Ngau Chi Wan were opposite the Sun Moon House. Fortunately, no one was injured or needed to be evacuated.
The fire department believes that the two fires are not suspicious and were suspected to be caused by unextinguished cigarette butts.
During the fire in Hong Man Building, the decoration hoarding of a nearby vacant shop was affected. The fire was very fierce. Some neighbours joined forces to shoot water from the building, and firefighters also rushed to fight the fire, avoiding a disaster.
The fragments and photos taken by residents showed that trolleys, pallets and other debris and garbage caught fire during the incident. The fire was blazing, and heavy smoke hit the residential houses. Firefighters came to the scene to rescue them.
During the fire in Hong Man Building in Oi Man Village, some neighbours joined forces to shoot water from the building.
