Damascus-Sana
Temperatures remain around or slightly higher for such a period as a result of the country being affected by a weak extension of a shallow air depression from the southeast, accompanied by southwesterly currents in the upper atmosphere.
And the Directorate General of Meteorology expected in its publication this morning that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, with the opportunity remaining ready for local showers of rain over separate areas and the weather will be cold at night, especially on the mountain heights, warning that fog will form in some interior areas during the early morning hours.
The winds will be east to northeasterly between light and moderate, active on the coastal highlands and the sea with light waves.
During the past 24 hours, several governorates witnessed sporadic rainfall, the highest of which was 38 mm in Manbij, Aleppo Governorate.
The rainfall project bulletin issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform stated that precipitation rates were in Daraa, “Busra 3 mm,” in Homs, “Palmyra 4 mm,” and in Hama, “Sabboura, 3 mm, and Al-San 1 mm.”
