Seven people, including three minors, were indicted Tuesday, December 1, during a hearing in the investigation chamber, after the beating of a police officer last June in Lyon while he was returning home with his companion.

According to the summary report mentioned during this hearing, a witness to the scene who had contacted the authorities a few weeks after the events was heard under X by investigators from the Departmental Security and confirmed having seen an individual round up a group, in shouting, "

All the suspects claim that they were unaware of the victim's duties, but this testimony supports the version of the injured police officer, who asserts that he was then called a "
dirty cop

Three suspects were arrested in the days following the events and four others were arrested and transferred on November 19, all of them remanded in custody.

After careful analysis of the telephone, and viewing CCTV images of the neighborhood, investigators estimate that eleven individuals participated in the ambush.
Another direct witness heard by investigators saw the scene from his window and estimated
