In the Lenggries municipal council meeting on Monday evening, Werner Weindl was awarded the title of former mayor.
City hall chief Stefan Klaffenbacher (left) presented the corresponding certificate.
Weindl was in charge of the community from 1996 to 2020.

A general traffic check was subjected to a 71-year-old Lenggrieser on Monday at 11:25 a.m.
He was traveling with a team of SUVs and trailers in the Königsdorf community area.
The police officers found that the trailer had been out of service for a long time.
The Lenggrieser then stated that he had not got an appointment with the admissions office.
He had to leave his trailer on site.
A report awaits him under the Compulsory Insurance Act.

From the police report: Between Saturday, November 28, around 8 p.m. to Monday, November 30, around 6 a.m., previously unknown perpetrators forcibly broke into an empty building on Abt-Walther-Weg in Bad Heilbrunn.
The perpetrator or the perpetrators damaged two glass doors to get into the building and devastated the furniture in the building.
