Today, the General Authority of Qamishli National Hospital received a device to conduct a PCR analysis to detect the Coronavirus in advance of the World Health Organization.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent today, Dr. Omar Al-Akoub, the director general of the authority, said that the authority received the device and was awaiting its installation by the World Health Organization to put it into service directly, pointing out its importance because the authority provides its services to all residents of the Eastern Region after the majority of the hospitals left the service due to theft and sabotage by the organizations Terrorist.
He pointed out that the device will shorten the time and effort for the citizens, as the analyzes will be conducted directly and within 40 minutes the result will be ready, while the swabs were previously sent to Damascus, which takes a longer time, stressing the presence of qualified medical personnel in the body that previously underwent intensive courses in Damascus to work on the device.
In the General Authority of Qamishli National Hospital, there is a medical isolation center for treating people with Corona, and is currently in the process of creating an additional isolation center within the authority to provide medical services to patients with confirmed HIV infection.
