, diagonally across from the Müller drugstore.
Thick smoke penetrates the building.

.

,
Weidach
and
Gelting
, district fire chief Erich Zengerle district fire inspector North Robert Schmid, the local operations management support group as well as 20 emergency services and four police officers move out immediately.

Fire in Wolfratshausen: A firefighter is injured during operation
At the
time of the fire, there were three people in
the
attic apartment
.
"We saved two of them from the windows using portable ladders," says Stefan Kieskalt, spokesman for the district fire brigades.
The third had been brought outside via the stairwell.
In the hallway, the comrades also come across an uninjured fourth person - apparently in the apartment below at home.
They bring her to safety too.
The
ambulance service
drives two of the residents of the upper apartment to the
Wolfratshauser Kreisklinik
and one to the
Murnau Clinic
.
Ines Lobenstein takes care of the fourth person affected, an older man.
The
Caritas
homeless representative
has her office in the immediate vicinity and is quickly on site.
According to Kieskalt
, a
firefighter
suffers “minor burns”
during the first
fire-fighting attack
, and he too is immediately driven to the district
clinic
.
Doctors there take care of his injuries.
The entire
Marktstrasse
is now closed.
The
extinguishing attack
is carried out simultaneously with several teams - both from the outside via the turntable ladder and from the inside.
"Thanks to the immediate, intensive
extinguishing work
,
the flames
could be prevented from
spreading
to neighboring houses," Carolin Englert, spokeswoman for the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters in Rosenheim, will later write in her report.

At around 2 p.m., the
firefighters have the flames
under control, but they are still a long way from calm.
"The extinguishing work is currently underway," reports Kieskalt at 2:46 pm.
"The roof will have to open to the whole
embers
get hold." The fire department spokesman expects at this time with a further two hours of work.
Then a carpenter will close the roof again.
The
fire brigade also
catches running
water
in the older man's apartment.
The fire in Wolfratshausen was probably not started intentionally
Kieskalt cannot provide any information
about the
cause of
the
fire
.
That is "firstly too early and secondly the task of the police".
She gets to work immediately: The detective service of the
Weilheim detective
takes over the investigation of the
cause of the fire on site
.
"Since the fire investigators from the criminal police can enter the scene of the fire at the earliest in the course of tomorrow, no statements can be made at the moment," says police spokeswoman Englert.
However,
there have been no
indications of an
intentional arson
.
According to Englert, the amount of damage is likely to be in the mid six-digit range according to an initial assessment.
The solidarity among the
Wolfratshausen people
is great
.
Ines Lobenstein grabs the older man, who is standing in the cold in the cold in slippers, to buy him a pair of warm shoes in Georg Meiller's shop.
She wants to finance this with donations.
Meiller, however, does not accept any money. “This is my donation,” he says.
On the mediation of
Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner
, Lobenstein can then accommodate the man in a hotel room in the Humplbräu.
“Ms. Fagner was immediately helpful,” she says happily.
She also reached out to the 74-year-old's daughter, "she will now take care of her dad".
Lobenstein also wants to find a place to stay
for the three burned-out people who are currently still being
cared
for in the
hospitals
.
When rescuers need help themselves: The DLRG Geretsried currently hardly receives any donations.
