After leaving the road on the RN165 this Wednesday morning around 4:30 am, a heavy truck carrying hundreds of turkeys overturned, and with it all its cargo, our colleagues from Ouest France noted.

The truck, which was traveling in the direction of Nantes, would have left its lane at a chicane, near Malville (Loire-Atlantique).

A detour was also set up by the Interdepartmental Direction des Routes Ouest (DIRO) around 7:30 am.
If the heavy truck was indeed evacuated by a mechanic, a rendering company was expected to remove the dead animals from the roadway.
