Update from December 2, 12:17 p.m.:
Would
Donald Trump have won
the US election if he
had dealt
differently with the
coronavirus pandemic
?
It's a question that his former campaign manager answered "yes" to.
Brad Parscale
even believes that Trump could have won a "landslide win" against
Joe Biden
if he had shown more empathy.
He said in an interview with the US broadcaster
Fox News
on Tuesday (local time).
“People were scared,” Parscale believes.
He has the assumption that especially young families with children have a
"sensitive president"
wanted to see.
But Trump often downplayed the danger of the corona virus in the election campaign.
In addition to Trump's struggle to further spread his unsubstantiated claims of campaign fraud, a
bribe scandal
could soon
attract
a
lot of attention.
The US judiciary is investigating this in the White House, as
reported by the
AFP
news
agency
,
among others
.
A
court document
shows that the investigation is about campaign donations, with which a possible pardon by the US president should be bought.
However, as parts of the document have been blacked out, it is unclear who is under suspicion.
After the 2020 US election: will Donald Trump soon pardon his family?
The document, which formally deals with the investigators' access to the electronic communication of suspects, speaks of a "secret lobby system" with which high-ranking employees of the
White House *
should be persuaded to obtain a pardon or a pardon To obtain remission from the president.
It appears to have involved lobbyists and lawyers, a party donor and a man or woman who is or was sitting in prison.
The lobbyists and lawyers contacted the government employees and asked for a
pardon
or a reprieve.
In doing so, they referred to “significant campaign donations” from a donor in the past and other “expected” donations in the future.
According to the court document, the investigation has been going on since at least
August
.
However, it is not clear from the document when the suspicious contact took place.
In the passages that have not been blackened, there is no reference to the incumbent President Donald Trump or his
election campaign team
.
Donald Trump
recently pardoned several people
(see first report)
.
According to two anonymous sources in the
New York Times
, Trump recently discussed with advisors whether to pardon his children, his son-in-law, and his personal attorney Rudolph Giuliani.
Accordingly, Trump should fear that the
government
under Biden could retaliate and use his closest circle for it.
After 2020 US election: No evidence of election fraud found
Update from December 1, 9.45 p.m.:
According to Minister
William Barr, the
US Department of Justice has
so far found no evidence of the
electoral fraud
alleged
by US President
Donald Trump
on a large scale.
"To date, we have not seen any fraud on the scale that could have led to a different election result," Barr told the
AP
news agency on Tuesday
.
The Justice Minister directly contradicted Trump.
The Republican continues to claim that his Democratic challenger Joe Biden won the November 3rd election because of massive fraud.
Trump has so far not presented any reliable evidence.
Trump's lawyers rejected Barr's account.
Trump attorneys
Rudy Giuliani
and
Jenna Ellis announced
on Tuesday
that there was "no hint" of an investigation by the Justice Department
.
"We have gathered extensive evidence of illegal voting in at least six states." The ministry has not verified this evidence and testimony, it said.
Barr appears to have formed his mind "without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systematic fraud".
Barr told
AP
that prosecutors and federal FBI investigators were investigating complaints related to the election.
But they would not have found any evidence that would have changed the result.
Barr is considered a close ally of Trump.
US media reported Barr was at the
White House
on Tuesday

Update from December 1, 8:26 p.m.:
Donald Trump makes a new attempt
to overturn
the result of the lost presidential election in the US state of
Wisconsin
.
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday, lawyers for the US president called for more than 220,000 postal ballot papers to be disregarded because they were illegally filed.
Wisconsin had
officially confirmed
the results of the presidential election the day before with the victory of challenger
Joe Biden
in the state.
After the 2020 US election: Fox News advises Donald Trump to pardon himself
First report from December 1:
Washington -
Fox News host
and Trump loyalist
Sean Hannity
had an idea on Monday.
In both his radio and television show, he suggested that the outgoing US President
Donald Trump
should pardon himself.
And his family too.
It has been discussed for a long time whether Trump would be able to do this - and which moves he could still implement in his remaining weeks.
The current president is said to have at least
inquired about
the possibility of a
self-pardon
.
And just last week, Trump granted this privilege to his ex-security advisor Michael Flynn.
Hannity said
on his broadcast on Monday: "The
President
must pardon his entire family and himself on his way out the door because they want this witch hunt to continue." The guest was the dismissed Trump attorney
Sidney Powell
, the last stood out for their crude
conspiracy
myths.
For them, at least, the question of
self-pardon was
quickly resolved: "The president will be in office for another four years to finish the job he started because the
election fraud
we are exposing is massive." Trump is still fighting legally for the White House - even if sobering internals have leaked from his team.
Hannity
didn't seem to
let
go of the subject, and he thought about it aloud on his evening TV show.

After 2020 US election: Fox news host is considering pardoning Trump - Biden is building his team
Apparently the
Fox News host had gotten
closer with the open letter from attorney
Andrew Weissmann
in the
New York Times
employed.
At least he briefly referred to the former employee of the
FBI special investigator Robert Mueller
.
In his article, he pondered whether
Trump
should be charged - according to him: yes - and came to the following conclusion: "To be president should mean that you are more accountable to the rule of law, not less."
Meanwhile,
Joe Biden's
election victory has
also been
officially confirmed
in the states of
Wisconsin *
and
Arizona *
.
The
Democrat
and his Vice President
Kamala Harris *
are currently busy rallying their future team.
One personality caused a stir among the
Republicans
in the
Senate *
.
According to
Biden
,
Neera Tanden
will be responsible for
budget policy in the
future
.
"
Joe Biden's
'radioactive' candidate," as
Politico
headlines.
The reason for the attribution are tweets in which
Tanden
criticized Republicans - many of which she is said to have deleted in the past few weeks.
What
sparked
the anger of the
Republicans *
even more, says

After the 2020 US election: Joe Biden introduces an all-female communications team
Another message from
Joe Biden
causes a stir.
Although the
Democrat * was
injured while playing with his dog Major *,
he wants to avoid missteps
in his choice of the
communications team
.
The Democrat put together an all-female team.
And
promptly got a lot of attention
in the
US media
for this decision.
I'm unspeakably proud to have the opportunity to serve as White House Communications Director for @joebiden.
Working for him as VP and on this campaign gave me insight into what kind of capable, compassionate, clear-eyed president he will be and it will be a profound honor to 1 /
- Kate Bedingfield (@KBeds) November 29, 2020
"These qualified, experienced communicators bring different perspectives to their work and work together to rebuild this country better," said
Joe Biden
about his decision.
