The number of patients currently being treated in hospitals in the country has more than doubled in the last month • Director of the Center for Disease Prevention: "There are going to be hard times"
For the first time since the outbreak of the corona plague, the number of corona patients hospitalized in US hospitals crossed the 100,000 mark tonight (Wednesday to Thursday), and now stands at 100,226 hospitalized.
There are now growing fears that the daily death toll from the virus could reach 3,000 deaths in mid-December.

In the shadow of the news of a new negative record in the fight against Corona in the US, the AP reported tonight that due to the huge hospitalization load experienced by the US health system, some hospitals in the country have taken dramatic steps and offer "eye-popping" salaries to try and reduce some of the existing medical staff.
The AP news agency reported that some hospitals are trying to "entice" more doctors and medical staff to return from their pensions and return to work.
At the same time, there is extensive recruitment experience of medical students and graduates, who have not yet received their medical license, to try and alleviate the shortage of manpower.
One of the main factors that has caused hospitals to take these steps is the rapid increase in the number of patients hospitalized.
The number of patients currently being treated at the hospital has more than doubled over the past month, and as mentioned now stands at more than one hundred thousand hospitalized.
By comparison, on November 2, 48,557 Corona patients were hospitalized in U.S. hospitals.
The alarming rise in morbidity, the erosion of medical staff and the December holidays turned on a number of warning lights.
Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), Dr. Robert Redfield, commented on the enormous burdens currently placed on the U.S. health care system, saying, "The reality is that December, January, and February are going to be tough times. The most difficult in terms of public health in the history of this nation. "
As of this writing (19:00 in the US), in the last day about 2,500 people died after contracting the corona virus and about 180,000 new carriers were found. The total number of patients in the country stands at 14,313,941 people and the death toll is close to 280,000 Humans and stands at 279,865 deceased.
