Charlie Dalin (Apivia) still keeps the lead of the Vendée Globe fleet this Thursday (at 5am) in the Indian Ocean, with nearly 230 nautical miles (426 km) ahead of his pursuer Louis Burton (Bureau Vallée 2) , who settles in second position while Thomas Rettant (LinkedOut) retreats, with a damaged foil.

Behind the three men, half a dozen sailors find themselves in a pocket handkerchief, barely 50 miles separating the fourth, Damien Séguin (Groupe Apicil), from the eighth, Benjamin Dutreux (OMIA-Water Family).
