Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that his country has the right to respond to the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh at the appropriate time.
In a statement, the Iranian presidency clarified that Rouhani held, during a phone call with the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Israeli entity responsible for this crime, considering it "evidence of the impotence and weakness of the enemies of the Iranian people in facing it."
With regard to the nuclear agreement, Rouhani indicated that Iran will implement the commitments it has undertaken if the other party commits to and fulfills what it has pledged, expressing his hope that the new US government will take note of the mistakes made by the current government headed by Donald Trump.
