Hasaka-Sana
The new show of the National Theater in Hasakah Governorate combines Chekhov's mirrors between a collection of stories by the famous Russian writer Anton Chekhov and projections of the tragedy of the spread of the Corona epidemic.
The text of the work narrates the suffering of a group of people due to the circumstances of life, so that the spread of disease, fear of the unknown, and the specter of death that threatens everyone who becomes infected with this disease increases their suffering, as the characters of the show talk about reality, their own vision of the world and their dreams of a better tomorrow.
The author and director of the work, Ismail Khalaf, explained in a statement to the SANA reporter that the presentation carries a general humanitarian concern, and although the text is based on the writings of the creator Chekhov, he links this to the tragedy of Corona disease that threatens human life, noting the ability of Ibrahim Khalaf the work writer to deal with it dramatically so that it is a mixture between a global text and reality pension.
Actor Basil Hareeb pointed out that the show depends on simplicity and work on the inner act of the actor and on the swings in the middle of the stage to make the characters fly through their simple dreams and tell the story of a human being.
Representing Ismail Khalaf, Abdullah Al Zahid, Faisal Hamid and Ginda Abdel Qader participated in the cast.
