A man who arrived at the Luis Munius Marin International Airport in Puerto Rico was arrested after attacking a U.S. National Guard soldier because he asked him to wear a mask over his face.
According to evidence from the incident, Adrian William was asked to wear a mask after arriving on the island, while waiting to pick up his suitcase at the airport.
After refusing, he was asked to fill out a travel statement that was mandatory for people entering Puerto Rico - and he refused.
A man who arrived in Puerto Rico on a flight from the US, yesterday, attacked a PR National Guard soldier who twice told him to put on a mask at the baggage claim in San Juan, according to @PRNationalGuard.
The man also refused to fill out mandatory travel declaration forms.

The requests apparently shaped William, who suddenly started beating the National Guard man and other staff members who were around him.
In documentation from the incident posted on social media, William was seen beating others before being arrested.
Local police said that "William did not follow the instructions to wear a mask or provide personal information, and as a result began attacking the complainant in the face."
