In recent months, Air France-KLM executives have all admitted that the group, which is very heavily indebted due to the crisis which is depriving it of revenue but not of costs, should restore its level of equity.
Air France-KLM's net debt is expected to reach 13 billion euros at the end of December.
The group must improve its debt ratio and reduce the interest rates on its loans.
Frédéric Gagey, Air France-KLM's chief financial officer, confirmed in September that the group was still aiming to raise new capital to strengthen its deteriorated balance sheet.
The creditor banks had demanded it during the rescue plan.
