Pakistan condemned the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, stressing that it contradicts international norms and laws.
"The assassination of Fakhrizadeh not only contradicts international norms and laws, but also threatens peace and regional stability, which is fundamentally tense," a Pakistani foreign ministry statement said.
Last Friday, the Ministry of Defense and the Support of the Iranian Armed Forces announced the assassination of Fakhrizadeh, following a terrorist operation that he was exposed to near the capital, Tehran, while an official in the American administration revealed that the Israeli occupation entity was behind this crime.
