Today in Aleppo, the work of the fourth electoral cycle of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Tourism began at the Shahbaa Hotel in Aleppo.
Engineer Muhammad Rami Radwan Martini, Minister of Tourism, pointed out in a speech to the importance of holding the election cycle in Aleppo, the capital of economy and tourism, which was able to confront and defeat terrorism thanks to the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army.
Martini explained that the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Tourism is still the main partner with the government to activate and support tourism work through fruitful cooperation that leads to achieving social and economic development, pointing out that the tourism sector continues to provide tourism services despite the conditions of war and the unjust blockade imposed on Syria and it receives all support. And attention to what contributes to its development, which leads to support the state treasury and the national economy.
In turn, Dr. Mohamed Khadour, President of the Federation of Chambers of Tourism, explained that the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism has achieved a positive shift in the work of the tourism facilities after the damage caused to them by terrorism and their impact on it, pointing out that today's elections mark the beginning of the establishment of the next phase of work and tourism investment and contribute to attracting tourists.
For his part, Talal Khudair, President of the Chamber of Tourism of the Northern Region, drew attention to the important role of the chambers of tourism by conveying the work difficulties that tourism establishments, companies and transport offices suffer from to the decision-makers in the tourism issue to overcome these difficulties and push the pace of work forward.
After that, the elections for the new Council of Chambers of Tourism and then the elections for the council offices began.
The opening was attended by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Salwa Abdullah, the Governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, the Secretary of its branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Ahmed Mansour, and assistants of the Minister of Tourism.
