Today, the Vatican Museums Directorate decided to extend the temporary closure of the world-famous complex until January 15, as part of the new measures taken by the Italian authorities to limit the spread of the new Corona virus.
The directorate said on its page on the social networking site Instagram that “in coordination with the measures approved by the Italian authorities regarding the health situation, the Vatican Museums will remain closed to the public until January 15, 2021.” Castel Gandovo, summer residence near Rome.
