Pure drama at the final race of the “ADAC GT4 Masters” in Oschersleben: Jan Kasperlik and Nicolaj Møller-Madsen from Huglfinger's “Allied Racing” team cheered up the award of the first places.

Huglfing

- Twelve races on six different courses were on the program for the "Allied Racing" team from Huglfing this year in the "ADAC GT4 Germany" racing series.

The final two races in the Motorsport Arena in Oschersleben (southwest of Magdeburg) turned out to be a worthy end to the season for team boss Jan Kasperlik and his colleagues.

In two dramatic races, Kasperlik and his teammate Nicolaj Møller-Madsen clinched a win and a third place.

However, these two top results were not quite enough to win the drivers' championship.

The "Allied Racing" duo reached 174 points in the overall standings, which meant second place in the end.

Michael Schrey and Gabriele Piana (Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport) had two points more in the end.

In the end, however, the Huglfinger racing team was also able to celebrate a victory: In the team classification, “Allied Racing” (216 points) was clearly at the top.

"Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport" (184) and "Mann-Filter Team HTP Winward" (182) followed on the other ranks.

“That is the greatest and also the most important success in our history.

The developments that we have initiated in recent years have now been reflected in this triumph.

I'm really happy and thank everyone involved, ”said Kasperlik.

“In the end it was only enough for us to take second place, but I'm happy because we won four races of the season,” added his 13-year-old team-mate Møller-Madsen (27).

Motorsport: In the second race, Kasperlik / Møller-Madsen were the first to cross the finish line

At the beginning of the decisive second race, the Dane was initially behind the wheel; he and Kasperlik had finished the first in third place, starting from position six.

In the turbulent start phase, Møller-Madsen quickly improved to second place.

Then he put a lot of pressure on the leading Reinhard Kofler (True Racing).

After around 17 minutes of racing, the Dane finally overtook the Austrian in order to take a break at the top as the race progressed.

Kasperlik then took over the wheel of the “Porsche Cayman GT4” and was ultimately the first to cross the finish line.

Behind him, his “Allied Racing” teammates Joel Sturm and Dennis Fetzer made the double victory for the Huglfinger racing team perfect.

The day before in the first of the two races, Sturm / Fetzer had achieved fifth place.

They reached seventh place in the overall ranking (100 points).

The third Porsche of the “Allied Racing” team with Tom Kieffer and Christian Kosch finished eleventh and 17th in Oschersleben (overall ranking 16th with 56 points).

Team boss Kasperlik particularly emphasized that his teams were "strong as a bear" on five out of six racetracks.

Only the competition at the Sachsenring "we have petered out".

Nevertheless, Kasperlik has a very positive season balance.

Motorsport: "Allied Racing" in the coming season with four vehicles in the "ADAC GT4 Germany"?

His focus is already on the next season, the planning for this is already underway.

“Of course we want to defend the team title.

Three vehicles are already fixed for the ADAC GT4 Germany.

We are even considering putting a fourth car into series production, ”reported Kasperlik.

However, it is not yet clear whether his racing team can handle this project logistically.

In any case, "Allied Racing" will expand.

Starting next year, the Huglfinger racing team will be involved in the more powerful GT3 category.

“We'll be driving the GT World Challenge Sprint and Endurance next year with a Porsche 911 GT3 R.

With this commitment, we want to position ourselves to intervene in the ADAC GT Masters in the future, "said Kasperlik, revealing the long-term plan.
