As the landlady of the “Stadtplatz 13” restaurant, Aline Brunner shaped the gastronomy scene in Miesbach.
Now she gets out and swaps the counter for an office desk.
The corona pandemic poses
major challenges for
the
catering industry
.
Corona has
now pulled the plug on
a cult landlady from Miesbach
- she will close her restaurant.
Aline Brunner has already found a new job - in a car dealership.
Everything from the region is available in the Miesbach newsletter.
Miesbach
- Aline Brunner is what you call a
landlady out of passion
.
The 28-year-old is Miesbacher, hits the tone of her guests and has established her eatery “
Stadtplatz 13
” as a popular meeting place in the district town, which is not exactly easy for gastronomy.
In addition, she runs the stadium management of the
TEV Miesbach
, and in the summer of 2021 the bistro in the warm outdoor pool Fischbachau should complete her portfolio.
But that is now obsolete: Aline Brunner gets out.
Miesbach: Corona has pulled the plug on the cult landlady - she closes "Stadtplatz 13"
The woman who is so enthusiastic about events in “her city” and after only five years in the business can be called a
cult landlady
lacks the strength.
Corona
pulled the plug on her.
"It takes a lot of
energy
- especially psychologically," she explains.
The responsibility for her
employees
, plus the lack of predictability, have taken a toll on her in the past weeks and months.
Ultimately too much.
Does ice hockey take place?
Is there an outdoor pool season?
And if so, under what conditions?
Their conclusion: "Planning is no longer possible." Not currently and not in the
future
.
Cult landlady from Miesbach, Corona uncertainty became too much - "I need a solid base now"
Brunner, who has been part of the Free Voters' city council faction since May, the constant
uncertainty
now became too much.
“I need a solid base now,” she says.
“For me.” She wants to continue “Stadtplatz 13” until a
new tenant is
found.
And at TEV she also wants to bring the season to an end.
Nobody should be left hanging - that's important to her.
It was easier with the
outdoor pool bistro
in Fischbachau.
Since no contract has yet been signed, it was
easy to
exit
.
“I talked to the community, including those responsible at TEV and my lessor.
Everyone
understands my situation.
My employees too. "
Office instead of bar: cult landlady now works in a Miesbach car dealership
What worries her above all is the
lack of perspective
: "Nobody knows how things will go with Corona," says the 28-year-old.
“In all honesty, I'm an optimistic person, but I'm not optimistic about 2021.
There is no end in sight.
That sucks and draws strength. "
That's why she decided
to look for
a
normal job
again.
And that's already been found - in a Miesbach
dealership
.
She works there from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., after which she goes to “Stadtplatz 13” for the
delivery service
.
Income, vacation - everything can be planned.
"I work every day to make sure everything works, but how long should it go on?"
The thought of breaking up came in September.
"
We survived
the
first lockdown
well," she says.
The "Stadtplatz 13" went well nonetheless.
But
doubts about
the future remained.
Then the rising incidence in summer, the second lockdown loomed.
More and more cuts in the ice rink, and then the renewed ban on the
gastronomy
.
"Every week a new development, and always the question: How will it go on?
What's coming?
What do we do?
The staff, the costs. ”She confirms the extension of the lockdown.
“We don't have short-time work.
I work every day to keep everything running, but how long should it go on? "
Cult landlady wants to continue to get involved with Miesbach
Aline Brunner is satisfied with her lane change.
“I had five wonderful years as a restaurateur.
I have fulfilled my dream and, I think, achieved a lot. ”She wants to continue to work for
Miesbach in the
future
.
“I still have the motivation to do so,” she says.
"The only thing is that there won't be any burgers."
The strict corona measures in retirement homes are often criticized.
An 83-year-old who moved to the AWO center in Miesbach was wrong.
Corona excitement, on the other hand, prevails in the Agatharied hospital: A patient who tested negative when admitted and his bed neighbor are sick with the virus.
Visiting is now prohibited.
