On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and with the participation of a number of athletes, the Syrian Special Olympics Foundation opened a cycling track for people with disabilities today in Barnia Street in Damascus.
He started cycling along the 1300-meter path that extends from the entrance to the Al-Faiha Sports City swimming pool to Barneya Street, with 150 participants with intellectual disabilities, normal people and a number of athletes, followed by planting a number of plants on both sides of the track.
Chairman of the Syrian Special Olympics Board of Trustees Tarif Qoutrash stated in a statement to the representative of SANA that the Foundation organizes every year and on the occasion of the International Day of Disability, a number of activities for people with disabilities to direct greetings for them, draw a smile on their faces and integrate them into society, indicating that the bicycle path was completed in cooperation with the Damascus Governorate to support these The slide and the experiment will be generalized to the provinces.
