With the participation of 35 women, a charity exhibition for handicrafts was opened today in Al-Azizia Monroe Restaurant in Aleppo, entitled Our handicrafts, the symbol of our culture, which includes many embroidery works, food and Christmas sweets.

Avo Khoshvian, Executive Director of the New Generation Armenian Cultural Association, pointed out the importance of the charity exhibition whose proceeds go to the families of the martyrs and which comes to emphasize the need to preserve the Syrian industries, especially the ancient Aleppo industry.

For her part, Nevin Mardini, Director of Public Relations at the Association, stated that the aim of the exhibition, which coincides with Christmas and New Year's Day, is to shed light on women's handicrafts.

The Sana camera monitored the displayed works, which varied between embroideries, sweets, accessories and festive decorations, as Kholoud Haddad, who participated in making Christmas decorations, drew attention to the role of this exhibition in stimulating the market movement and proving that the Syrian woman is present alongside men in all areas of life, while the participant Paula Asad pointed to the importance of These holidays, which are prepared for the holidays, include hand-made work and products, especially the manufacture of sweets and chocolate.

For her part, the participant Annie Marcoussian pointed out that these activities prove the existence of women, confirm their importance and independence, and help them develop themselves in order to be active in society.

A number of visitors to the three-day exhibition noted the diversity of the displayed works, especially holiday decorations and Eid sweets.
