It is an amazing success that Fabian Stadler never dreamed of.

In 2020, the Peißenberger is the best apprentice in Germany in his field.

And that in an industry to which the future belongs not only in Germany.

  • Great success for Fabian Stadler from Peißenberg

  • He is the best trainee in Germany in his field

  • The 21-year-old trained as an electronics technician for machine and drive technology

Peißenberg / Eglfing - Christian Schmid and his freshly baked electronics technician for machine and drive technology are one heart and one soul.

“He can handle it,” said the boss of the electrical engineering company of the same name in Eglfing about the ambitions of the journeyman from Peißenberg.

Schmid was right.

As reported, Fabian Stadler won almost all the prizes that could be won this year with his theoretical and practical final exam in Bavaria.

With 97 out of 100 possible points, the 21-year-old was chamber winner and then state winner in his field.

Now the Peißenberger has it in black and white that he is also at the top across Germany.

"As the best of your profession, you are a personal role model and example of the future viability of the German trade," says the congratulatory letter from Berlin.

As reported by the Central Association of German Electrical and Information Technology Crafts (ZVEH), the winners from seven electrical trade training occupations were determined “based on the result of the customer order subject within the practical journeyman's examination”.

In his final exam in February, Fabian Stadler had the task of manufacturing a so-called stator.

This is an essential component of the three-phase motor.

The production requires a lot of manual labor and time.

The 21-year-old recalls that he had eight hours at the time.

How good his work turned out in the end, he found out once more from Berlin.

The Peißenberger would have gladly received his trophy and certificate there on the big stage and in front of a large audience.

Because of the corona pandemic, this has of course become impossible.

As a consolation, the Central Association of German Crafts is offering a virtual closing ceremony: Tomorrow, Saturday, December 5th, there will be a live stream honoring the winners of the training professions.

It starts at 1 p.m.

Anyone who wants to can be there at the address zdh.de/plw-2020.

Despite all honors, Fabian Stadler has both feet firmly on the ground.

Although he could hardly save himself from job offers with his degree, he remains loyal to the Schmid company in Eglfing.

And he'll probably soon be training the new apprentices there himself.

Since June, the Peißenberger has been going to school at the master school in Munich on weekends.
