After hard Kirchnerism made public its criticism of the Supreme Court for having ratified the ruling that condemned Amado Boudou for having illegally appropriated the Ciccone company, the national government took the post and also questioned the Justice.

It was the chief of staff, Santiago Cafiero, the first official to speak out publicly about the ruling known Thursday, which puts the former vice president on the verge of returning to jail.

In a message through his Twitter account, the official spoke of "a process plagued by irregularities and arbitrariness" and demanded "fair trials."

"Amado Boudou, like any other citizen, deserves that his rights are not trampled on.

The Court had to take charge of a process plagued with irregularities and arbitrariness,

" Cafiero published after noon this Friday.

And he added: "Until we achieve a clear and honest functioning of the Judicial Power as a whole, the entire society will be held hostage to doubt and mistrust. We need fair trials to trust again."

On Thursday, the Supreme Court upheld Boudou's conviction for illegally taking over the Ciccone Calcográfica printing press.

With a unanimous ruling, they left the former official on the verge of returning to jail, since the Oral Court 4 that tried and convicted him had imposed a sentence of 5 years and 10 months in prison for the crimes of passive bribery and negotiations. incompatible with the public function.

Currently, Boudou enjoys the benefit of home detention that was granted by Judge Daniel Obligado, coincidentally, the same magistrate who now must decide whether or not to continue that situation.

The first "official" criticisms of the court's ruling had appeared on the morning of this Friday, when

Axel Kicillof and Andrés Larroque came out to question the decision of the highest court.

"The Court's ruling against Boudou is unheard of. The case is plagued with irregularities and a very complex process during the last 4 years, with all the pressures that are public and notorious," said Larroque.

The leader of La Cámpora and Buenos Aires minister also left a message to Alberto Fernández when he spoke again about "lawfare" and said that "these are substantive issues that were not modified on December 10."

Kicillof, meanwhile, also turned to Twitter to endorse the former Economy Minister and then Cristina Kirchner's vice president.

"Armed causes, trout sentences, false witnesses. Nothing fair can result from that. We need justice. Enough of political persecution. The lawfare has to end. #ConAmadoNo", was the president's message.
