VIDEO - When presenting to the press the government's vaccination strategy against Covid-19, the Prime Minister thinks he has lost his glasses when he has just put them on his nose.

Thursday 3 December, 6 p.m., in Matignon: the Prime Minister accompanied by his ministers of Health Olivier Véran, European Affairs Clément Beaune, and Industry Agnès Pannier-Runacher, presents a "

very educational

" plan on the strategy of vaccination adopted by the government.

As he begins to outline it, Jean Castex greets the assembled press, removes his mask, puts on his glasses and then carefully disinfects his hands with hydroalcoholic gel.

Then suddenly, a question crosses him: "

where are my glasses?"

He whispers to himself.

He feels himself, looks in his inside costume pocket, lifts his mask placed in front of him but does not find them.

And for good reason, he just put them on a moment earlier.

In the same breath and without any particular reaction, he will then begin his speech.

Synonymous with exhaustion?

Of stress ?

These few seconds captured by televisions also show us that the Prime Minister is like everyone else at such times.

The moment is surreal and anecdotal, even though the subject is serious, the government plan for vaccination against Covid-19.

We are probably looking for reasons to smile anyway or to have a human reaction in these important moments.
