Covid helped him reinvent his business 3:23
(CNN) -
The governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez, announced on Thursday the signing of a decree that imposes a total quarantine on Sundays and the closure of several businesses.
This new decree will be in force from December 7 to January 7, 2021 and seeks to prevent the increase in infections of covid-19.
A daily curfew is established from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am and Prohibition is established on Saturdays and Sundays.
The new order prohibits the consumption, sale or sale of alcoholic beverages from 5:00 am on Saturday to 5:00 am on Monday.
Authorized businesses may operate until 8:30 pm from Monday to Saturday.
On Sundays, all citizens must remain in their place of residence or accommodation 24 hours a day, except to go to shops and services authorized by the order.
The shops authorized to open on Sundays will be gas stations, pharmacies, supermarkets and hardware stores.
Restaurants may only operate through the order delivery or collection system.
“We call on the public to comply with these provisions, wear the mask all the time and keep distance from other people.
Avoid crowds and lines.
As we have said before, it is useless for us to establish these restrictions if people do not take preventive measures individually and at the family level, ”said the governor.
