Sébastien Ogier in seventh heaven.
Winners of the Monza rally this Sunday, the Gapençais and his co-driver Julien Ingrassia beat the Hyundais of defending champion Ött Tanak and Spaniard Dani Sordo.
14 points behind his Toyota teammate Elfyn Evans, Ogier took advantage of the Welshman's exit on Saturday to then finish in style with a victory in Italy.
Seventh world crown for the Frenchman (36), now titled with three cars after his successes at Volkswagen (2013-2016) then at Ford (2017-2018).
He thus joins in the legend the Finnish Juha Kankkünen, the only other crowned driver with three different brands (Peugeot, Lancia, Toyota).
