A historic church in Manhattan, New York, was exposed to a huge fire that destroyed large parts of it.
The (USA Today) newspaper reported today that the fire broke out yesterday in an abandoned building adjacent to the historic Manhattan Church, which dates back to the nineteenth century, which set it on fire and spread to the rest of the church's contents.
No casualties were reported from the fire and its cause.
Videos showed red and orange flames pouring out of the windows and lighting the sky.
