The news hit hard on the holiday Tuesday in Argentina: Alejandro Sabella died.
And the world of football, still hit by Diego Maradona for days, came out to say goodbye to him on social networks.
"I deeply regret the death of Alejandro Sabella. A fateful year. RIP," wrote Diego Latorre, one of the first to tweet from his account to fire the former World Cup runner-up with Argentina, in Brazil 2014.
From the official account of the Copa Libertadores they fired the DT champion with Estudiantes in 2009 with an emotional message.
"Goodbye. At the age of 66, Alejando Sabella, DT champion with @EdelpOficial of the #Libertadores 2009 and the coach who led @Argentina to the final of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, died."
