Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its assertion that the silence of the international community and contentment with statements of condemnation encourage the Israeli occupation to persist in its crimes and to continue implementing its settlement plans aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue and undermining any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
"The escalating settlement attack in the occupied Palestinian territories recently, which expresses an unprecedented colonial incursion by devouring more Palestinian land and deepening and expanding settlement, indicates the Israeli occupation’s disdain for the decisions of international legitimacy," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement today, carried by Wafa.
The Foreign Ministry condemned the occupation’s announcement of the start of the actual steps to construct a new settlement road south of occupied Jerusalem, as an integral part of an expanding colonial scheme that includes the establishment of 550 new settlement units.
