Two municipal police officers were slightly injured Wednesday, December 9 in the morning in Bollène (Vaucluse) by a young man of 20 years on file for radicalization, said police sources, confirming information from the Journal du Dimanche (JDD) site.

The young man, registered in the File of alerts for the prevention of radicalization of a terrorist nature (FSPRT), was trying to break into a house armed with two ceramic knives for an undetermined reason at this stage.
Alerted, two municipal police officers arrived on the scene and tried to stop him on an adjacent lot.
He then tried to stab the police officers, slightly injuring one in the neck, one of the sources continued.
During his assault, he would have shouted "
Allah Akbar
", it was further specified from the same source.
He was then arrested after use by these same police officers of an electric pulse weapon and then placed in police custody.
The investigation, opened by the Carpentras prosecutor's office, was entrusted to the Montpellier judicial police.
The national anti-terrorism prosecution has been notified and has not taken up the case at this stage.
