The dating company HK Romance Dating Limited (HKRD) interviewed 492 Hong Kong men and women via telephone and online questionnaires from mid-November to early December this year, including 226 women and 266 men, hoping to understand how Hong Kong couples are under the epidemic Christmas consumption intentions and patterns.

More than half of the interviewees said that under the influence of the epidemic, their expected consumption would decrease compared with the previous year.

On the female side, 18% said that consumption would be reduced by 10%, and 16% said it would be reduced by half.

In addition, the survey also found that more than 15% of men and women have no intention to give gifts this year.
