Hunter Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden, revealed on Wednesday that he is being investigated by the Delaware federal prosecutor for a tax case.
The investigation was released five days before the Electoral College is expected to formally select Joe Biden as the next president.
Hunter Biden said in a statement: "Yesterday I learned for the first time that the United States Attorney's Office in Delaware informed my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax matters."

a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately,
