The General Electricity Company of Homs has begun installing nine new electrical transformers in Homs and its countryside to increase the reliability of the electrical grid.
In a statement to SANA, Eng. Saleh Omran, Director of the General Company for Electricity in Homs, stated that the company received nine new electrical transformers from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross, one with a capacity of one thousand KVA, six transformers of KVA capacity and two of KVA capacity, indicating that The transformers are expected to be fed to a joint after its installation.
Omran indicated that the Homs electricity workshops installed two transformers, one of them in the main street of the Al-Bayada neighborhood KVA and the other in the Khaldiya neighborhood of KVA, indicating that the workshops will work, respectively, to install transformers in the neighborhoods of Baba Amr, Jeb Al-Jandali and Bab Al-Sebaa, in addition to the villages of Ter Maaleh in the northern countryside of Homs. And al-Buwayda al-Sharqiya in the southwestern countryside of Homs.
