The General Company for Electricity in Homs began installing nine new electrical transformers in Homs and its countryside to increase the reliability of the electrical network.
In a statement to SANA, Engineer Saleh Omran, Director of the General Company for Electricity in Homs, stated that the company received nine new electrical transformers from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross, one with a capacity of 1,000 kVA, six transformers with a capacity of 630 kVA, and two with a capacity of 400 kVA, indicating The transformers are expected to feed about 35,000 subscribers after the completion of their installation.
Omran indicated that the Homs electricity workshops installed two transformers, one of them in the main street of Al-Bayada neighborhood 630 kva and the other in the neighborhood of Khalidiya 630 kva, indicating that the workshops will work in succession to install transformers in the neighborhoods of Baba Amr, Jabb Al-Jandali and Bab Al-Sebaa, in addition to the villages of Ter Maaleh in rural Northern Homs and Al Buwayda Al Sharqia in the southwestern Homs countryside.
