The police controls show, however, that there are only a few violations of the measures.

With a seven-day incidence of over 300, Erding in Upper Bavaria is still THE corona hotspot district.
As a result, there has been a nightly curfew between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. since Wednesday.
The police do not allow the residents to get used to it.
On the night of Thursday, the officials fanned out to large-scale controls.
The first balance of the police headquarters of Upper Bavaria North: "The situation remained calm," said a spokesman.
There were, however, some violations: The Erdingen police followed up seven violations of the infection protection regulations within 24 hours.

Five people were smoking and drinking alcohol at a gas station.
They belonged to different households.
They also violated the ban on consuming alcohol in public.
Furthermore, according to Leitner, two young men were caught in a car in Erding who had ignored the night curfew.

"In a total of 254 controls of the applicable restrictions, curfew and mask requirement, 28 violations were recognized in the district and prevented by the police," reports the Ingolstadt Presidium.
The airport police inspectorate discovered and ended only two violations in 64 controls.
To strengthen the two departments in Erding and Dorfen, the Presidium deployed forces from the operational supplementary services in Erding.
The Munich Airport Police Inspectorate was also heavily involved in the controls.
The aim of the surveillance is not only to "punish violations severely," said the spokesman.
"We also want to achieve a preventive effect through the increased police presence."
The police are satisfied with the first night: “We are pleased to note that the restrictions and requirements are accepted by the vast majority of the population in all areas,” said the spokesman.
All citizens reacted "consistently insightful and understanding" to addressing any violations.
"In this context, the new rules still had to be explained frequently."
The Presidium has announced further concerted controls for the coming days and nights.
As reported, around 800 reports of this kind had been received by the Erding District Office by last week alone.
In general, according to the Erdinger District Office, it is currently the case that the apartment may only be left for a valid reason: to go to work or to school or daycare, to visit the doctor, to go shopping, to visit family members and relatives who are sick or in need of care, to go for a walk, Exercise and walks, and attending meetings.
