It is a legendary car race, the Panamericana, born in 1950 and relaunched in 1988. The biggest manufacturers competed there: Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Lancia… Its name will have inspired Porsche as well as a certain Jack Heuer .
It was in 1963 that the latter imagined a watch that would become one of the flagship models of the brand which has now become TAG Heuer with its 36 mm diameter, its silver dial, its snailed counters at 3 and 9 o'clock as well as 'a small seconds counter at 6 o'clock.
