More than 278 thousand families in Hama governorate received sugar and rice through the Syrian trade outlets and halls under the system of text messages using the electronic card for the months of October. This new experience met with approval by most of the citizens of the governorate, although some were unable to obtain their allowances for various reasons.

In interviews with the SANA reporter, a number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the experience of receiving the ration allowances via text messages, as Muhammad Al-Saeed explained that he received his allowances from the subsidized materials about ten days after registering his request, while Mahmoud Al-Salloum indicated that he received his allocations of sugar and rice after receiving a text message via The mobile phone directly and Ms. Mona Saraqbi called for speeding up sending text messages and not waiting until the end of the period because this created a kind of congestion and confusion in the halls during the last days of the second month.

For his part, the head of the sales outlets department at the Syrian Trade Corporation in Hama Haider Al-Youssef explained that the total number of requests submitted by citizens entitled to subsidized materials for the past two months to receive their allocations amounted to 335,466 requests, of which 278,450 requests were executed, with an implementation rate of 83 percent, indicating that the quantities sold amounted to 1906 tons of Sugar and 1934 tons of rice.

Al-Youssef pointed out that some sales centers and lounges have witnessed great pressure from the auditors because of the transfer of residents of some villages to them, especially in the Masyaf area, and therefore the period of receiving the items specified must be modified to 48 hours because it is no longer sufficient for citizens to receive their allocations.

In Hama, there are 138 showrooms and sales centers dedicated to distributing food supplies, in addition to the presence of a mobile car that covers remote and remote areas.
