The General Directorate for Consumption, Competition and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) published on Thursday a recall of salad bags containing salmonella.
The Bonduelle, Auchan Saint Eloi and Système U brands, sold in several supermarket chains, are concerned.

Salmonella is a bacterium which, if ingested, can cause food poisoning.
They “
result in gastrointestinal disturbances, diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain, often accompanied by fever;
these symptoms may be more serious in young children, immunocompromised people and the elderly.
The incubation period can range from 6 to 72 hours
”, specifies the DGCCRF.
The authority attached to the Ministry of the Economy recalled several lots sold at Carrefour, Leclerc, Auchan, Intermarché, the Grande Épicerie de Paris, the transporter Segurel and Système U.

In total, 18 batches of Bonduelle salads (Mesclun 125g and Young shoots and arugula 145g), 3 batches of the Système U brand (Roquette 150g and Mesclun 175g), 3 others of the Auchan brand (Mesclun 125g and Roquette 125g) and one last of the Saint Eloi brand (Mesclun 125g) are concerned.
