It's hard to invent a story like this: He was the operator of the Corona vaccination center in Starnberg for about 24 hours.
Florian Fikuart is now withdrawing.
His past has caught up with him.

after the award to a

, the latter withdrew
its offer
on
Saturday (December 12)
.
The reasons for this reveal a human drama.
District
- "AINexpert withdraws offer." With these words a dry press release was headed, which the district office sent on Saturday at 5 pm.
The
Gautingen
company was only awarded the contract to operate the corona vaccination center in the district on Thursday evening.
In the communication, "economic and organizational reasons" were given that led to the decision.
However, that is only half the story.

Because AINexpert managing director Florian Fikuart was sentenced in March of last year by the
Starnberg District Court
for
forgery of documents
to
22 months
probation and 2200 euros in monetary terms.
The
reason is spicy:
The now 31-year-old is a trained paramedic, but between May 2013 and April 2016 had faked three permanent jobs as a nurse using fake certificates.

He worked as a paramedic in Augsburg until a superior accused him of embezzlement.
Although the proceedings were discontinued, the employment contract was canceled.
After that, he never got a leg on the floor in his job around Augsburg.
When the severance payment had been used up, he had the idea to apply to the Schindlbeck Clinic in Herrsching as a nurse -
with forged documents.

By applying to the Corona vaccination center, the focus is suddenly on the Gautinger's past
"I know perfectly well that I shot a huge buck with it," he says.
“I would very much like to revise that if I could.” But he also says: “I have always been respected professionally.” In Herrsching, he became deputy head of an intensive care unit after a short time.
After he was blown up at Schindlbeck, Fikuart hired the same scam in Großhadern and Bad Tölz.
“I put my head in the sand instead of pulling the emergency brake,” he says.
So it was only a matter of time before “the house of cards of lies”, as he calls it, finally collapsed.

psychotherapy

verdict
and a
new beginning
.
First as a trainer for paramedics, then, this July, as self-employment.
Fikuart founded the company AINexpert in Gauting - where AIN stands for anesthesia, intensive care and emergency medicine.
The company, with five full-time employees and a pool of 25 specialists, looks after customers from the clinic and rescue service in personnel and management issues.
The customers came from Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, he says.

He recently took the big leap.
Fikuart and his company applied for the operation of the vaccination center - "after detailed advice, including with my wife, and after legal advice".
He created a concept "that I am still convinced of" and submitted the documents to Starnberg - "to the best of my knowledge and belief," as he says.
However, he did not state the criminal record, and the submission of a police clearance certificate was not required.
“To my great surprise and to my great joy, we were awarded the contract on Thursday evening.” As reported, AINexpert was able to prevail over four competitors in a public tender.
After the district made the result public on Friday,
events rolled over.
The District Office received information about Fikuarts criminal record.
In the evening, a meeting was arranged for Saturday morning with
District Administrator Stefan Frey
.
A conversation that both sides describe as "good".
In doing so, they agreed not to do business.
For Frey, the vaccination center is a particularly sensitive topic in which there is great public interest.
Fikuart presented a "sensible and coherent concept," says Frey.
But that could be overlaid by the previous history.
In addition, "the operation of a vaccination center establishes a special relationship of trust".
In addition, the company submitted "a self-declaration on the absence of grounds for exclusion".
The tendering process itself ran according to the current requirements, including those of the Free State, with the participation of lawyers.

Fikuart himself can understand Frey's decision.
“I underestimated the media factor,” he says.
And he does not want to hinder the topic of corona vaccination.
“We won the award procedure properly.

What remains is the district administrator's disappointment.
And disillusionment with Florian Fikuart.
Wasn't he aware of the risk that the story might come up again?
“Yes, but I underestimated that.” He now hopes that at least his existing customers will remain loyal to him.
"At some point you have to be able to gain a foothold again if you've made a mistake." He admitted his mistake, worked up his behavior and accepted his punishment.
