Decidedly, the “Wall for Peace” never ceases to create discord.
After twenty years of
“illegal occupation”
of Champ-de-Mars - it was originally to stay only four months -, of degradation and controversy, the creation of the artist Clara Halter and the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte should take his place, definitively this time, on the lawn of avenue de Breteuil, on the 15th arrondissement side, in the perspective of the Invalides.
While a petition brings together more than 6,500 opponents of this move, the residents, who were
"not consulted"
, are preparing a legal appeal.
The file will be discussed at the Paris Council this week.
