The Prime Minister of the African kingdom of eSwatini died this Sunday, December 13 in the afternoon in a South African hospital, announced in the evening the government of this country, formerly Swaziland, in a statement, without specifying the cause of this death.

"Her Majesty has asked me to inform the nation of the sad and untimely death"
of the Prime Minister,
"this afternoon while being treated in a hospital in South Africa,"
Deputy Prime Minister Themba said Masuku in a statement.
Ambrose Dlamini, prime minister of the continent's last absolute monarchy, was 52 years old.
He was hospitalized in South Africa for treatment in early December, two weeks after being diagnosed positive for Covid-19.
More than 6,700 cases for 1.2 million inhabitants
According to the latest figures released on Sunday, before the announcement of this death, the eSwatini recorded more than 6,700 cases including 127 deaths from Covid-19, for a population of 1.2 million inhabitants.

The role of the head of government is extremely limited in eSwatini, where the king appoints ministers and controls parliament.
