The tree of macronism can therefore be judged by its fruits.
Its daily exercise of power, its management of the health crisis, its response to the economic crisis show it for what it is: a technocratic statism, stiff and sure of itself, ignoring the intermediary bodies and needing, to be deploy, from a passive French company, waiting for solutions from above, good at applying the instructions: subject, in a word.
When this or that scolds, opposes or drags its feet, it stiffens, annoys and threatens.
The current handover between Emmanuelle Wargon, Minister of Housing, and certain mayors constitutes an almost chemically pure example of this categorical and peremptory attitude.
Announcing last week on RTL wanting to
"break the ghettos"
and relaunch the construction of social housing, she attacked mayors who do not welcome enough in their municipality and pay a fee.
