Deputy Prime Minister Bnei Gantz is losing it.
The control of his own party.
Only a week or two ago he could have saved the situation.
Save himself from the cruel political fate that awaits him.
But today, he knows, it's probably too late.
Such and other compromise proposals designed to stop the election campaign at the last minute, require legislation.
To pass legislation a majority is needed.
And today he is no longer sure that he has that majority.
These are not just Joaz Handel and Zvika Hauser who have retired and it is no longer possible to rely on their fingers to pass a compromise that will postpone the election, but this is a whole group that is forming out of blue and white, which is about to tell him - so far;
That his subservience to Netanyahu, as they see it, he must stop immediately.
And if he does not do it himself, they will decide for him.

Ganz really did not plan for this to end.
As someone who had learned to trust his good fortune, he knew he had to pull in important time to get close to rotation.
Just yesterday, he told his faction members in a WhatsApp message, in light of the inflation of compromise and legislative initiatives among blue-and-white members, that only he was authorized to negotiate on behalf of the party.
He did not say he was not ready to negotiate with the Likud.
And in other words, he longs for one who will save him from an election campaign in which he will end his short path in politics prematurely.
But, as stated, as the days go by, so things get out of his control.
Opposition to the postponement of the election is headed by resigning Minister Assaf Zamir.
With him are MKs Ram Shefa and Miki Haimovich.
The members of the group are close to an open declaration that they will not give a hand to the legislation that will come as a result of another compromise agreement with Netanyahu.
At the same time, they are working to expand the ranks.
On their target - Avi Nissenkorn.
Once they achieve it, they will be able to achieve many more and prevent Magnz from completely making any compromise.

The coalition now has 70 MKs, without Handel and Hauser. If two or three Likud MKs, Sa'ar loyalists, do not support the postponement of the new boss service, and so another six or seven white brushes, Gantz and Netanyahu will not have a majority to change the budget law or law Basic: The government, if there is a compromise.
