Dozens of interns protest in front of Edelstein's house: "Do not return to slave conditions"
Medical students and interns demonstrate in front of the Minister of Health's home, two days before the expiration date of the permit to exceed their terms of employment.
Once approved, hospitals will not be allowed to employ interns on 26 consecutive hours, and their working conditions will be compared to those of other workers in the economy.

Dozens of interns and students demonstrate tonight (Monday) in front of the home of Health Minister Yuli Edelstein in protest of their terms of employment.
The protesters call for "do not return and do not return to the conditions of slaves," and "July do not mistake the interns going to strike."
On Wednesday, the permit of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare to deviate from the working conditions of interns will expire, but the committee set up to deal with the issue has not yet submitted its conclusions.
After the deadline for approval, hospitals will not be allowed to employ interns on 26 consecutive hours, and their working conditions will be compared to those of other workers in the economy, so they will have to be paid for every additional hour beyond the eight statutory rules.
