- For nearly ten months France has known, for health reasons, strong restrictions on freedoms.

Which feeling predominates: adhesion, weariness or anger?

As often, the French are not unanimous and various reactions can be observed in the face of the epidemic and the measures taken by the government.

However, a majority attitude seems to be emerging, it is that of resigned acceptance.

Even if exasperation and anger sometimes surface, a majority of our fellow citizens consider that we have no choice and that we must comply with these constraints to protect ourselves and those close to us.

The main driver of compliance with instructions is not trust in the government but fear of the virus.

Indeed, the Covid continues to cause fear as evidenced for example by the fact that, according to a recent Ifop poll for CNews and Sud Radio, only 22% of French people intend to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve. December 31st
