Like all of us in the recent shopping month, Pinky Jones, a 36-year-old Florida mother, was thrilled to find a bargain sofa at a bargain price - but she did not know whether to laugh or cry when the shipment arrived home.

Jones ordered a $ 250 five-seater Rich sofa from the Wayfair shopping site and waited ten weeks for it to arrive.

She expected to lie down on the couch with her fiancée, 38-year-old Joseph, and her five children - but unfortunately found that the piece of furniture she had ordered was barely enough to seat two.

The Florida property manager said, "My fiancé was home when the couch arrived and he said it looked small to him, but I thought maybe it should be put together. When we opened it we found it was a tiny couch. I was torn with laughter, it's a couch for kids."

Pinky added: "I would not even think of buying a sofa for children. I thought it would be a real sofa, big enough for my living room. It is not written anywhere that it is a children's sofa and it is in the living room section of the site. "And my fiancé and I are sitting on the beanbags in the meantime. I was waiting for it to arrive because we have no furniture. I waited ten weeks for delivery."

Despite the serious mistake, Pinky tries to take it with humor.

She said: "It's a little annoying because now I do not have furniture in the living room, but I went through a sad childhood and was homeless. I was able to buy myself a house now, so I got too many lemons to complain about. I just think it's funny."

Will everyone be able to squeeze on the couch?

Pinky hurried to get her picture taken on her new couch before returning it to the store and sharing the photo on Facebook.

Very quickly the post gained more than 59,000 shares.

She was shocked: "I did not expect this post to go viral. I posted it on Facebook just for my friends and when I got back on the phone, it just exploded. I could not believe it."

Pinky said the sofa was returned but she had not yet received her money.

Her family decided to help her and raise money for a new sofa.

The goal was to raise $ 650, a sum that would be enough for a high-quality, large sofa - but so far the crowdfunding column they opened has managed to raise $ 1,435 and prove that the mistake paid off.
