Spain expects to start vaccination against covid-19 in early January
The Spanish Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, confirmed that the country expects to receive the first vaccines against covid-19 as of January 4.
Before starting to vaccinate the population, Spain must wait for the European Medicines Agency to approve any of the candidate vaccines.
The agency is expected to rule on December 29 on the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine.
