A clear message to Iran?
The Department of Defense's Walls Administration and the U.S. MDA have successfully completed a series of interception trials in the David Sling and Iron Dome systems.
As part of the experiments, the systems intercepted threats simulating cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.
The experiments were carried out from an experimental field in the center of the country as well as from the heart of the sea with the participation of fighters from the Air Defense System and the Sea Arm.
The Air Defense Department calls the experiment an "operational model," when Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Amikam Nurkin approved the scenarios, which included launching close to ten targets.

The air defense fighters fired a double-digit number of David Sling and Iron Dome interceptors at the targets, and managed to destroy them completely, with 100 percent interception.
A significant portion of the funding for the experiment was American.

According to the Ministry of Defense, a series of experiments tested the capabilities of a magic wand system, known as the David Sling, in a new and advanced development version.
"The series has included a number of scenarios that simulate new and future threats that the system may face during a conflict," it said.
The series of experiments also demonstrated the capabilities of the Iron Dome to intercept cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and more.
Also proven multi-layered connectivity of all missile defense systems: arrow, slingshot and iron dome, which will allow the systems to jointly manage the threats and add interception opportunities.
